A fun, easy late-morning itinerary for locals and visitors: puppy yoga in Westwood followed by lunch and frozen coffee in Beverly Hills.
Looking for a fun way to spend a few hours in Los Angeles?
Whether you live in LA or you're visiting and want something that feels a little more local, this easy late-morning itinerary combines puppy cuddles in Westwood with lunch and frozen coffee in Beverly Hills.
It's cute, casual and very LA.
Late Morning: Puppy & Flow
Westwood, Los Angeles
Start your morning at Puppy & Flow, a puppy yoga experience that combines a guided yoga session with plenty of puppy playtime and cuddles.
We recently experienced it ourselves, and while there is definitely yoga involved, we'll admit that we were really there for the puppies.
It's fun, heartwarming and an easy way to start the day in a good mood. You don't need to be a serious yoga person to enjoy it. If you love puppies, that's reason enough to go.
The session runs for about an hour and the puppies are with you the entire time. Expect cuddles, a few yoga poses and plenty of photo opportunities.
Booking in advance is recommended, especially on weekends. Sessions fill up quickly.
Westwood to Beverly Hills
After puppy time, head from Westwood to Beverly Hills for lunch.
It's an easy pairing for a midday LA experience. Just remember to give yourself a little extra time depending on Los Angeles traffic.
Lunch: Leora Cafe
Beverly Hills
Next stop is Leora Cafe for a casual Beverly Hills lunch.
We've eaten here more than once. The schnitzel was amazing on a previous visit, and on our latest visit we went for chicken nuggets and fries because sometimes you simply want fries.
On a hot Los Angeles day, don't skip the frozen coffee. Cold, creamy and refreshing, it was exactly what we wanted after our morning in Westwood.
After Lunch: Explore Beverly Hills
You're already in Beverly Hills, so from here you can make the afternoon your own.
Walk around, shop, explore Beverly Hills or simply continue with whatever else you have planned for your LA day.
Why We Love This Itinerary
Not every Los Angeles itinerary needs to be packed with major tourist attractions.
Sometimes a great LA day is simply discovering a fun experience, enjoying a good lunch and leaving yourself enough time to see where the rest of the afternoon takes you.
Puppies, Beverly Hills and frozen coffee sounds like a pretty good LA day to us.
